Have you ever thought to have breakfast in a seven stars hotel?

Different ways on how to enter Dubai’s 7-Star Burj Al Arab Hotel without booking a room

Dubai is one of the most popular destinations for tourists all over the world. This city, surrounded by the sea and the desert, can satisfy every kind of request: world biggest malls for shopping, world’s highest tower, white beaches, fancy clubs and restaurants, luxury hotels and much more.

After a desert jeep ride, a dive in the beautiful sea, a skiing in the Mall of the Emirates and the visit of the most amazing spots around the city, we decide to book a breakfast in the most famous Hotel of Dubai and the only one in the world with 7 star, the Burj al Arab.

The meaning of that name is “The Tower of Arabs“. The building is characterised by shape as a sail, and it is built on an artificial island on the Jumeirah beachconnected to the mainland by a 280 meters bridge. Unless you are wealthy, if you like ”exploring” this luxury masterpiece of Dubai, the only possible way is to book a visit. It is not allowed to enter without being a hotel guest. Indeed we can’t reserve a room, but anyways we are extremely curious to visit one of the most famous hotels in the world. Therefore we decided to book among the different options that the Burj al Arab can offer: breakfast, lunch, dinner, afternoon tea, happy hour or evening bar. After seeing the several choices, we finally decide for breakfast, with no doubt one of the most expensive that we ‘ve ever had!

After booking on the Burj Al Arab website, the management reminds us with an email confirmation that a dress code must be respected: gentlemen are required to wear a collared shirt, full-length trousers or elegant jeans and closed shoes, ladies are required to wear a suit or dress, long or short skirt or dressy slack and top. So, we’re now ready to enjoy this fantastic experience inside one of the most luxurious hotels in the world: we jump on a taxi from Bur Dubai following the direction to Jumeirah Beach. After showing our reservation at the main gate, we start walking on the bridge towards the hotel and in a few minutes…here we are! In front of our eyes, we can see the ”Sail” in all its luxury and greatness.

Before entering, we stop along the bridge to take some pictures and enjoy the fantastic view of the Jumeirah Beach and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, another famous and luxury building with a wave shape. After getting to the main entrance where many luxury cars like Ferrari, Maserati and Bentley are parked, a hostess warmly welcome us, asking to follow her. Now we are inside the building, and we can’t believe our eyes! In front of us, the escalators that lead the guests upstairs, on both sides aquariums with much tropical fish, a fountain with water games and a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.

We continue to follow the hostess, and finally, we arrive at the first floor where we can find restaurants, bars and some top brand shops. She asks us to wait sitting on the couch, and from there we can enjoy the view and luxury of this place and its incredible architecture: gold, Murano glass, Italian marble, delicate fabrics, diamonds and fountains.

No words will ever explain so such splendour of the inner part of the hotel! While waiting for our table, we have a look around, and we would like to take the elevator to visit the 27th floor, where the Skyview Bar is located, and have a top view on Jumeirah. It’s not allowed. The hostess tells us that we need a reservation kindly asking to stay around the 1st floor. That’s ok, but such a big shame, the view from there is breathtaking!!

In the meantime our table is ready, and we can start our ”7 stars breakfast” at the Sahn Eddar RestaurantThe pleasant waiter leads us to our place. The table is prepared in such a perfect way that it seems an artwork! The menu that can be chosen in this restaurant is among continental, Indian or Arabic, and everything cares in the smallest detail. While we’re waiting for the continental breakfast, the waiter starts serving us different kind of desserts, fresh juices, hot drinks, homemade yoghurt, muesli and fresh fruit.

After we finish this “first round”, they serve us what we chose before: salmon with eggs, bacon and sausage. The arrangement of the food on the plate it is an artistic composition, and we are amazed by such great scrupulousness and, of course, by its delicacy! After finishing our delicious breakfast, and having our last “sight” around, we leave this magnificent Hotel going on with our hectic program. This breakfast was the most expensive we’ve ever paid in our trips around the world, but definitely, it’s worth till the last money we paid. Even though we are budget traveller, the breakfast this 7-star hotel (but also a dinner or brunch) is a unique experience to try once in life!
