Relaxing at Punta Est beach in San Teodoro
Set along Capo Coda Cavallo, a peninsula well known for its stunning beaches, Punta Est beach is a long and narrow beach surrounded by dense vegetation of Mediterranean maquis, highlighted by the contrast between its grainy golden sand and the turquoise colour of the clear sea.

In front of the beach, you will see the small island of Proratora, also reachable with a swim, the island of Molara, famous for the clear colour of the water, and the island of Tavolara (pic nr. 3).

The beach is easily reachable by car or motorcycle from San Teodoro. Driving along the Coda Cavallo road, 500 metres after Cala Suaraccia, you’ll find a junction with a small booth where you have to pay the entrance fee for the beach. After that, a dirt road starts going downhill along the cliff for a kilometre until you get to the beach car park.

Proceeding straight from the junction, you’ll find the Punta Est beach viewpoint, from where you will be impressed by the terrific view of the beach and surroundings. After the viewpoint is the Punta Est Village, a nice area with some restaurants and cafes with a stunning beach view.
